This book is ok it could use some improvement, but other wise it was good. It had all you need to know like the birthday of the witch or wizard. But I am confused though it is not that clear to me. But that might be just me. So go read this book and see for your self.

The blind singer

Perfect way for the blind to access this material!!

I was literally thinking this week, that I wish potter more would publish books containing the website material, as for blind fans it is difficult to know what all is there. I was so happy when I found these! I know that some people criticize them upon their release for not having new material, but for those of us who have difficulty with the website, this is new material!

Wonderfully Clever and Creative with a Moral Sensibility

This book is appropriate for Harry Potter junkies of all ages who have read the septology and crave more information and insight. Rowling's explanations about the names of her characters are illuminating, and her explorations of their weaknesses as well as their strengths enrich the original books. It was interesting to read that Remus Lupin was sensitive enough to regret James Potter's bullying of Severus Snape, but unwilling to oppose it for fear of losing the fellowship he so much needed. Also fascinating is Rowling's comment that the despised and feared condition of lycanthropy is a metaphor for AIDs and the fear and mistrust it engenders.

A glimpse into the unknown

I loved learning more about these characters and their backgrounds. To know that they had a life and a story of their own which reflected their choices and actions in life and made them into the characters I have come to love and some characters I didn't even know. I' m looking forward to whatever comes next in the magical wizard world!

Nicely written, it provides an insightful look into the life and times of two beloved characters (Professor McGonnagal and Remus Lupin), one mysterious and puzzling character (Professor Trelawney), and clarification on one that I was always curious about (Professor Kettleburn). I was thoroughly entertained!
